Join with others—judges, lawyers, law firms, citizens, corporations—to promote and improve Ohio’s justice system. We accept various assets as gifts, and we create customized funds to meet your charitable interests. We are careful stewards of our financial resources and our contributors.
Give to an Existing Fund
The Foundation holds funds from which the Foundation’s board makes grants to nonprofit organizations that have applied for support. Gifts of any size are always welcome and appreciated.
Establish a New Fund
The Foundation establishes minimum criteria and guidelines for new funds. Grants made from the fund established will always be made in the name of that fund. Create or Plan for a Future Fund
You may prefer to establish your fund through a bequest, estate gift, or life income gift to the Foundation. We are ready to help you make that happen. Call or email Andrea Plant, our Director of Development, for more information.

Ritter Award Winner Stephen Chappelear
Columbus attorney Stephen Chappelear has been named the 2011 Ritter Award winner for his professionalism, integrity and ethics in the practice of law. Chappelear talks about the honor with the Ohio State Bar Association's Stephanie Beougher.
