
McIntosh recognized by law foundation for community service
Columbus, OH – Jill V. McIntosh (45227), the Head of Third Party Financial Services and Corporate Secretary of Kroger Personal Finance, was presented with the Ohio State Bar Foundation Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 and Under in District 1 for her outstanding service to the community. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association District 1, which covers Hamilton, Butler, Warren, Clinton and Clermont Counties.
Ms. McIntosh serves primarily with the Southwest Ohio Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), the Cincinnati Bar Association and the YWCA of Greater Cincinnati. Under her leadership, Southwest Chapter of the ACC reached its goal of over 200 members and with her encouragement, decided to donate a portion of its CLE revenue to Legal Aid Society of Cincinnati. Highlights of Ms. McIntosh’s leadership included receiving Honorable Mention as the 2007 ACC Small Chapter of the Year award as well as the Board Leadership Award for her service as President in 2008. In addition, she is the Chair of the Corporate Counsel Committee for the Cincinnati Bar Association. Within this position, she has given countless hours of her time to organize educational seminars for in-house attorneys. Finally, Ms. McIntosh was named a Rising Star by the YWCA of Greater Cincinnati. She has volunteered much of her time to the organization and has been especially helpful in her involvement with the Career Women of Achievement Steering Committee, with which she helped raise over $500,000 during an annual luncheon. She also raised funds for the YWCA Battered Women’s Shelter by serving on the PartnersCard Steering Committee.
Ms. McIntosh received her undergraduate degree from Xavier University and her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Toledo College of Law. Together with Scott, her husband of eleven years, she raises their three children, Kate, Jane and Mary.
