Foundation to Recognize Community Service at OSBA District Meetings
COLUMBUS, Ohio (Sept. 26) – The 2009 recipients of the Ohio State Bar Foundation’s Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 and Under will be honored at their Ohio State Bar Association annual district meetings.
This award recognizes attorneys aged 40 or younger who contribute substantial time and effort to a local social service or a local civic, artistic or cultural organization. The service must be outside the recipient’s practice of law and must be given without compensation. Recipients should represent the ideals of the legal profession, be a credit to the profession and enjoy a fine professional reputation. The 2009 District Honorees are:
District 1— Jill V. McIntosh, Cincinnati
District 2 — John M. Deeds, Sidney
District 3 — Elizabeth A. Mertz, Bowling Green
District 4 — Angelita Cruz Bridges, Toledo
District 7 — Chad A. Readler, Columbus
District 8 — Karyn J. Leitzell, Portsmouth
